Celebrate the start of spring
On 30th May, in the elegant art deco surroundings of Devin Hotel, Bratislava the +421 Foundation New York and International Women's Club of Bratislava (IWCB) hosted a special fundraiser showcasing artists of various trades who all have a close link to Slovakia.
The event featured art exhibits by Abbie Puskailer, Vladislava Yakovenko, Monika Lacekova, and Victoria’s Galler, plus a fashion show by Atelier 71, curated especially by Monika Lacekova and Olga Seregi to present the collections of MoLa couture and Eva Benova - laureate of the Glass Button Awards. The fashion show was adorned by the beauty queens, Jana Vozarova - Miss Slovakia 2022 and Sofia Hrivnakova - Miss Slovakia 2021 with styling by Alenagalik_makeup and Olga Seregi from Lady’s Plus Salon.
Dancers and silk-rope aerialists from Ariwa Gym graced the runway with their contemporary dance performances. A particular highlight of this premier event subtitled “Arts&Nature” was the original music composed and performed by Slovak singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Peter Aristone.
Charitable Art Auction - Fundraising for Pezinok Children's Home
he artistic collective of Ateliér 71 and the jeweler, Matúš Kiss, have created a limited collection of unique hand-made accessories and precious jewelry pieces that are for sale during the event and afterwards via the Online Gallery. A percentage of the proceeds from the auction, as well as all voluntary entrance donations from the event itself, will be given to Centrum pre deti a rodiny Pezinok / Pezinok Children’s Home who require vital funds to support the children in their care.

“Culture is the best marketing tool a country has to offer on the international scene; it just needs to be used correctly," says Julia Radosz, IWCB Marketing Coordinator and renowned spinto soprano. Julia will be co-hosting the event with Eva Staron, founder of the +421 Foundation New York.
