Fawco conference
We were delighted to team-up with Fawco - the Federation of American Women's Clubs Overseas - for the biennial conference on sustainability and women's leadership.
We organized a fashion show with live auction raising funds for education awards and development grants in cooperation with the Fawco Foundation.
During the Foundation Night Gala, themed 'There is Value in Vintage, Old is New Again', our models (Miss Slovakia finalists) were auctioning off the up-cycled fashion collection designed by the emerging designers Andrea Berdisova, David Demovic and Ema Ozoganyova - under the umbrella of Atelier 71 and by Monika Lacekova. Atelier 71 was promoting a new sustainable innovation project of recycling fashion waste.
With the support of the Fawco Foundation and thanks to the Target Program project there is a way for Fawco members to make an actionable investment to empower women and girls to ensure a sustainable future.
