20 YEARS OF THE +421 FOUNDATION
For two decades, +421 Foundation has connected Slovakia with the world through culture, creativity, and purpose.
From bringing Bloody Sonnets by Pavol Országh Hviezdoslav to international stages, to supporting emerging designers through the Glass Button Awards at New York Fashion Week and beyond, our journey has been one of elevating Slovak talent globally.
Through the Eugen Suchoň Awards, inspired by Eugen Suchoň (father of the Slovak opera, and a grandfather of our Treasurer) we have nurtured young musical voices, while our concerts, charity galas, and cultural initiatives have placed compassion at the heart of everything we do.
Our Slovak Study Program continues to reconnect individuals with their heritage, bringing them closer to their roots, identity, and belonging.
Twenty years on, +421 remains a living bridge—between cultures, generations, and worlds.
And perhaps that is the truest form of connection: not something we build once, but something we choose, again and again.
