Brunovský and Son
The exceptional exhibition featuring the iconic Slovak visual artist Albín Brunovský and his son Daniel Brunovský opened on 20 January 2026 in New York.
The exhibition marks the return of Albín Brunovský's work to New York after 50 years. Twenty-nine years after his passing, his visionary imagination, symbolism and artistic courage remain timeless.
Presented alongside works by his son, Daniel Brunovský, the exhibition offers a rare inter-generational dialogue, featuring works from private collections, including several pieces never before publicly exhibited, revealing intimate and at times provocative dimensions of Brunovský's artistic universe.
The opening was accompanied by a musical performance by Karol Csino and followed by a wine reception.
